Hi. Everything was fine on Win 7 for last 3-4 years at least. I use a AOC LCD Monitor 1080p. As soon as I completed upgrade to Win 10, the screen size has gotten messed up. It badly needs to be stretched horizontally (screen is all squished up). I have gone into the monitor setup, the windows screen resolution, but to no avail. (My pc has a ATI Radeon HD 3600)
Solution
Hi
What does the Screen Resolution show in Advanced Display Settings?
Does it show the correct resolution as available but doesn't do anything when selected?
Or does in not show 1920 by 1080 as an option?
Does you ATI Video card have it's own setup utility?
My Sound Blaster card has a setup program that will override the Windows settings, maybe you have something that's overriding your Windows settings.
And as Bochane said have you installed the Windows 10 driver for your card?
If nothing works, try uninstalling your video card in Device Manager and rebooting.
This will force Windows to reinstall and configure the card and install what it thinks are the correct drivers for it.
