Windows 7 Skype video black screen on Wiin 8 but not 7

Hi all. I recently installed Skype on Win 8 and my video shows a black screen. However in Win 7 my Skype video shows whole environment clearly (no black screen). I am really puzzled Help would be much appreciated.

Are you using the Metro version or the Desktop version? You have the correct drivers installed for your Webcam?
