Hello
i have some issues with my wireless internet on my laptop
when i play an online game, sometimes the internet disconnects
I use a D-link router.

I have tried to uncheck IPv6, and uncheck the 'Allow computer to turn off this device to save power'. I have an Intel R WiFi Link 5100 AGN and it is up to date

There is a copy of my ipconfig :
maybe there is something wrong with it?

C:\Users\Admin>ipconfig /all

I am also wondering, if it is possible that high ping can cause wireless internet to disconnect
(sometimes my ping in the game becomes really high)

and maybe it can be caused by a lot of people on the same network (my brother, and me and my parents).

I really want this issue to be solved
thanks !

You have the causality backwards - issues with connectivity can cause the ping to become really high (a brief spike in ping times can indicate a disconnection that was short enough that the game recovered.

and maybe it can be caused by a lot of people on the same network (my brother, and me and my parents).
Could be, but i'd expect that to just cause lag, not DC's - though Bittorrent is very good at causing routers to behave badly. I've seen one computer running bittorrent tear down a home network (to the point that we were calling the ISP complaining that we hadn't had a connection for days. Turned off the bittorrenting computer that nobody was looking at - and instantly the internet connection worked again). If anyone's running a bittorrent client, get them to turn it off, and see if the problem persists.

I think the core of the issue, though, is that you're trying to do online gaming with wireless. It's very common for wireless connections to suffer frequent, brief, interruptions due to environmental factors - which go unnoticed in normal webbrowsing, but are fatal in online games. One person reported that it went out when the street sweeper drove by!

One of the most useful debugging steps you should take is to determine whether the problem is related to the wireless, or to some other factor - connect your computer to the router via a wired connection, and see if you still have the same problem.
