hi everyone!

i face a problem with my sound card.
when i installed vista businness everything going well.

suddenly there is no sound although
device is working properly and the drivers too. vista recognized the device.

i had installed sp1 and there was not problem. now i uninstalled sp1 but nothing.

could anyone help me?
i ve done everything.

Check device manager if you can see a sound device try 'rolling back the drivers'..

i ve tried to roll back but nothing.

i am using realtek audio definition
and i have a sony vaio VGNCR31S/L notebook model

the hardware is ok since i listen sound in linux (installed in a partition)

in addition windows recognize that the driver- device is working properly

Link Removed due to 404 Error

I ve installed the driver but nothing.

hey i had the same problem with my computer. i have a sony vaio, and i have the realtek driver
i found its a problem with vista. the updates stuff it up
fixed mine by downloading the driver again from the sony website and then uninstalling the driver currently on my computer, then reinstalling the one from the site. i also changed the windows update from automatic to 'ask me first'
I suppose everytime i d/l a new service pack ill probably have to do this, unless the vista people fix this up
hope this works for you aswell
