Windows 7 Speaker Balance problem

Since running Windows 7 i can no longer get equal sterio sound out of my speakers. One seems to work fine, but the other is low - this never happened on XP so i doubt it's the speaker itself.

I have also updated to the latest AC 97 drivers from the Realtek website.

Anyone help?

You may need the Realtek Codec, did yopu download that as well?

Is this the version you downloaded:

I don't know how they do it, but this site always has the latest driver and software updates.
