Windows 7 Taskbar Right Click

I'm wondering if there is a way to change the options for when you right click on the taskbar. On XP, when you right click on a tab the menu box popped up to the right,, on 7 it pops up above. I've gotten used to closing windows by right clicking and pressing close, so it's a bit of an annoyance to have to move the mouse up. Nothing major and something I can probably get used to but would prefer it the old way.
