I'm wondering if there is a way to change the options for when you right click on the taskbar. On XP, when you right click on a tab the menu box popped up to the right,, on 7 it pops up above. I've gotten used to closing windows by right clicking and pressing close, so it's a bit of an annoyance to have to move the mouse up. Nothing major and something I can probably get used to but would prefer it the old way.

Thanks

To adjust the behavior of the taskbar when you right-click on it in Windows 7, you can make some modifications using third-party tools. Here's how you can potentially achieve what you're looking for:

Using Taskbar Tweaker:

  1. Download Taskbar Tweaker: You can use a tool like "Taskbar Tweaker" to customize the taskbar behavior.
  2. Install and Run: After downloading, install the tool and run it.
  3. Adjust Taskbar Behavior: Look for options within the tool that allow you to customize the taskbar behavior on right-click.
