    Hello

Windows 7 I seem to remember had a place you could go to instruct windows to use a certain program to open a file. Is there such a place in Windows 10? When I double click on a downloaded zip file for example, Windows gives me Adobe which, of course, doesn't work. When I right click to "open with" the offered programs don't work also.

    Thanks

Look for Default Programs in Control Panel (or just search for it via the Start Menu)

You can change them as @Josephur stated or use the new settings utility
    • Press [Windows key + i]
    • Click on System
    • Click on Default apps
    • The general selections email, web, photo, music etc will be at the top
    • You can also scroll down and "Choose default apps by file type" and "Choose default apps by protocol"
