Hello,

here is my compressed Zipfolder ( have a rar one too ) from the instructions.

I just started getting these Crashes. So far it only happened while playing Witcher 3.

I went back to an older Nvidia Driver, but that didnt do the trick.

After the Crash it sometimes gets so troublesome that my BIOS cant detect a Boot Device to start from.

After numerous restarts it seems to work fine again. I am really worried about the safety of my system now.

Just writing this post an error message appeared "OneDrive.exe" and my Explorer crashed.

I found on another site the suggestion to enter in the command exe a

Dsim command, which said that basically there are some corrupted files. ( Dont remember clearly now ).

Hopefully someone can help resolving this issue. Getting scared that my laptop dies. ( really new )

Hi,
the above bugcheck was caused by an exception to do with the Store. Also your drivers need to be updated with the Windows 10 versions found on the Acer support page.
First open an admin command prompt and type:
sfc /scannow
Press enter and await results.

In the same admin command prompt type or copy and paste:
dism /online /cleanup-image /restorehealth
Press enter and await results (longer this time).

Please update all your drivers using the Windows 10 versions found on the support page for your machine:
Download Drivers and Manuals | Acer Official Site

Ok see how you go with the above.. Oh your using Mcafee yes? Please remove and just use the on-board Defender for now. McAfee can cause issues at times and not only is the Windows 10 Defender stable it's also a direct copy of Microsofts server AV so pretty good.

Post any new dump files.

Ok.

removed MCCafe
running a Scan with Defender.

Downloading all the drivers from the acer page ( thanks! )
not sure which WLAN Driver is mine. Hope I dont mess it up by downloading the wrong one

will do the sfc /scannow ( again )

there was something wrong with a CBS.log

I will do it again and post all the results here + the dism results

Laptop Crashed again.
it is in german, but here the report from the sfc scannow
( im sure you can read pass the german in this case )

Error in the dism scan as well ( was over pretty fast )

Error Code : 0x800f081f

The Source Files could not be found.

Hi,
the above Bugcheck means a critical system process died. Looking through I see that non of the changes I had suggested had taken place so please follow the instructions above and then if the machine bsod's after send me that dump file.

I'm hoping that changing your drivers will prove to be the solution although to be honest it's looking more and more likely to be the actual os and you may need to perform a reset. Anyway let's see how you get on after the above changes. I'm off to bed so won't be back until the morning.. Good luck! :)

I managed to fix the Problem. scf / scannow and Dism operates 100 %

had no carsh thus far

though I am still not sure if that was the origin for the BSOD crash?

what does that mean?
Something within the operating system was either corrupt or not running right. You did say the SFC and DISM scan repaired the install yes? If that's the case then the issue might well be down to the reason I offer above.

Well yeah I ran an SFC Fix, provided in another forum. That made the Sfc Scan complete without finding any issues, thus made the DISM Scan possible without any errors.

Now since then the Computer did not give me the Blue Screen of Death.
