Can anyone please help me, I recently had a virus that I had removed, but now that its gone, I still cannot connect to the internet. It does not detect the ethernet cable when its plug in, as in the LED does not light up green. Someone please help me! I've been frustrated with this problem for over a week and I really need my computer to do my homework online for college! This is what CMD shows me when I do ipconfig /all Microsoft Windows [Version 6.1.7601]

Hello and welcome to the forum.
You might start by uninstalling the Microsoft LoopBack Adapter. Unless you have some pressing reason for having it installed and need it for another purpose, it serves no practical purpose for normal network / internet use.
Open device manager expand network adapters (you may need to change the view to "show hidden devices" not sure) any way right click it and choose uninstall.
While there update your Realtek adapter driver. You can get the latest from here Realtek
Some details as to how your network is set up and what appliances are between your computer and the internet might help.
You may want to disable IPv6 in the properties of your network adapter and depending on what router you are plugged into you may have to manually set your Speed and Duplex to something other than Auto Negotiate, try 10Mbps Half then 100Mbps Half then 100 Mbps Full. You'll likely want to reboot after making each change in speed and duplex and see what happens.
