Edit UAC Settings: - Press Win + R, type msconfig, and hit Enter. - Go to the Tools tab and select "Change UAC settings." - Lower the UAC level by sliding the bar down (Not recommended for security reasons). 5. Sony Support: - Visit Sony's official website and look for driver updates or patches specific to your Vaio model that address compatibility issues with Windows 7 and UAC. By trying these steps, you may be able to configure the Vaio Event Service to work correctly even when UAC is enabled. If the issue persists, reaching out to Sony support for specific guidance tailored to your Vaio model could also be beneficial.
