Hey everyone - I am not sure if this is the correct place to post this, but I'll give it a go. I tried searching btw to see if there were anyone having similar problems, and didn't find anything that relevant. Anyways...
I have been testing windows 7 for a month or so now, and have encountered a problem only while playing video games (tested on Half Life 2 and Fallout 3). After about a minute or so of playing I completely lose video for a second or so, and then the game comes back. And it continues to happen about every 20-30 seconds after that. ONLY while I am playing a game.
My video card is a GEForce 7950 GT, and my monitor is a 20 inch ViewSonic VX2035wm. I have installed the latest Windows 7 driver for my video card, but my monitor does not appear to have any newer ones... is that the problem?
Any insight would be helpful
