Windows 7 Why is the game window not maximising?

The game doesn't go full screen and there is nothing I can do about it. The bottom part of it is off the screen.

Solution
The easiest explanation would be that you play the game in window mode, and have got your window moved downwards. The exclamation "There is nothing I can do", I don't believe.

Settings may depend on whether you play single or multi, Steam or in a society. But check that you have Full Screen set.
