Windows 7 Will my machine run 7 smoothly?

Here is my specs. What I want to know is will I be able to run Win 7 ultimate smootly(32bit)? I am planning to upgrade my RAM to 3 Gigs next month, can't afford to buy an external gfx right now.

Operating System : Windows XP sp3
Processor : AMD Athlon 64 X2 4200+
Motherboard : ASUSTeK Computer INC. M2N-MX SE Plus
Video Card : nVIDIA nForce 6150SE (6100-430) Video Adapter
Memory : 2GB DDR2
Hard Drive : SAMSUNG SP0802N (80 Gb) and SAMSUNG SV0411N (40 Gb)
Network Adapter : D-Link DFE-520TX PCI Fast Ethernet Adapter
Monitor : PHILIPS 105E (105E1)
Optical Drives : (Liteon)iHAS322 and (Asus)DRW-20B1ST
Onboard Audio : nVIDIA MCP61
Anti-virus Software : Bitdefender 2009

Any advice would be more than welcome!

It should run fine. The graphics aren't the greatest, but I ran the rc on less ram and processor and didn't have a problem.

Great! Will I be able to run Aero? Beacuse Win 7 upgrade advisor beta and vista up. advs. says I can, but Win 7 upgrade advsr latest says I can't!

oh no! Not even if I use latest drivers? Does 7 take up more video processing power than Vista? What abt. the upgrade advisors? I'm a total noob, please bear with me

I did a google search and I couldn't find anything for sure.

Minimum Hardware Requirements for running Windows 7 Aero:
# 1 GHz 32-bit (x86) or 64-bit (x64) processor
# 1 GB of ram
# 128 MB graphics card

Aero also requires a DirectX 9 class graphics processor that supports a Windows Display Driver Model Driver, Pixel Shader 2.0 in hardware, and 32 bits per pixel

Hopefully someone knows better than me.
