So I need to get a certain processor but I need to figure out if my processor is already good enough. But I've done all I can and my computer which is running on windows 10 won't recognize my processor at all. How can I fix this issue? I need all the help I can get.

Solution
I found earlier mostly as I'd never thought of it. Email my mobo manufacture and they'll send me their latest beta bios. Only stumbled on to this as I have a new AMD cpu

Full systems specs would really help you deal with this is. Make and model or a complete list of components if self built

Thanks I didn't think of this I finally figured out what I have and turns out in don't need a new, better processor.

Interesting how so often in this business the act of explaining your problem to others brings you to think the problem through from a different angle and come up with your own answers!
