Windows 10 Windows 10 disk usage 100

I upgraded from Windows 8 to Windows 10 when the upgrade was free and it ran fine for a few months. Over the last three or four months the disk usage would be at 100 every time I turned my laptop on, and would be like that for like two hours. Im not sure how to fix this and am wonder should i go back to windows 8 or try something else. Also in task manager it shows that I have around 5-10 things running at .1MB/s and everything else is at zero.

Hi,
try checking what's running using Process Monitor, a more advanced version of Task manager:
Process Monitor
Your Event logs might also be worth looking at.

Have you checked for malware? If not try running Malwarebytes

Do you run any kind of maintenance program?
Y'know defragging as well as running something like Ccleaner?

Lastly can you post the make and model of your machine?
