I've a Core i3 processor with Intel DH55TC Mother board with HD graphics. The system is new and I've installed Windows 7 with drivers provided with Intel Motherboard. But once I installed the graphics driver my monitor shows lot of dots on screen.

I've LG 16" Screen LCD Monitor. If I uninstall the graphic driver, the dots will go but the correct resolution for my monitor is not available.

What's the solution for this issue? Please help.
Board Model:
Intel(R) Desktop Board DH55TC
Board Version:
AAE70932-301
BIOS Version:
TCIBX10H.86A.0035.2010.0429.1516
Operating System:
Microsoft* Windows* 7 Ultimate

I've visited that intel driver update site & downloaded the driver. but while trying to install the driver, it is showing the driver you are installing is older than the version already installed.

It seems like you are facing a display issue with your Intel HD graphics driver on Windows 7. The dots on the screen are likely caused by a compatibility issue between the driver and your monitor. To resolve this problem, you can try the following steps: 1. Download the Latest Driver: - Visit the Intel website and ensure you are downloading the correct and latest graphics driver for your Intel HD graphics. - Sometimes, the drivers provided with the motherboard might be outdated. Downloading the latest driver from Intel's official website can help resolve compatibility issues. 2. Clean Driver Installation: - Before reinstalling the graphics driver, make sure to completely uninstall the current driver to avoid any conflicts. -...

- Use a tool like Display Driver Uninstaller (DDU) to completely remove the existing driver before installing the new one. 3. Install the Driver in Compatibility Mode: - If the latest driver still causes the issue, try installing it in compatibility mode. Right-click on the driver installer and select "Properties," then go to the "Compatibility" tab and choose a previous version of Windows like Windows Vista or XP. 4. Adjust Display Settings: - In Windows 7, you can manually set the screen resolution and refresh rate for your monitor. - Right-click on the desktop, select "Screen resolution," and choose the appropriate resolution for your monitor. 5. Check Monitor Cable and Connections: - Ensure that the monitor cable is securely connected to both the monitor and the graphics card port on your motherboard. A loose connection can also cause display issues. 6. Monitor Compatibility: - Check if your LG 16" LCD monitor is compatible with the resolution and refresh rates supported by the graphics driver. 7. Update BIOS: - Check if there are any BIOS updates available for your Intel DH55TC motherboard. Sometimes BIOS updates can improve system stability and compatibility. 8. Contact Intel Support: - If the issue persists, you may consider contacting Intel support for further assistance and guidance specific to your hardware configuration. Try these steps to address the display issue with the dots on your screen after installing the graphics driver. Let me know if you need more specific instructions on any of these steps or if you encounter any difficulties during the process.
