Windows Vista Windows 7 internet problem

Around four days ago i upgraded windows vista home premium to windows 7 home premium. In windows vista, whenever i would be online for more than a while, internet explorer would frequently stop working all of a sudden and didn't respond to any commands, forcing me to shut the computer down completely.

I upgraded for that main reason in the hopes the internet would work near flawless. So now I am having the same problem as i did in windows vista, the internet just STOPS WORKING and it becomes so annoying since i have much work to get to online!

Any ideas why the internet would stop working all of a sudden?

Some scheduled tasks cause problems. (RAC) You may have to disable them all to get the one(s) out of the way.

Sometimes you have to reboot your router if you have one. Windows 7sometimes confuses the router and it's not easy to get it going again by working on your computer.
