Windows 7 Windows 7 Internet surfing/downloading SLOW

I installed my driver for my network card and I have a 5/5 signal 100% as always. I am running the 64-bit version. Took about 35 sec to fully load the youtube homepage. I was downloading an add-on for Firefox and it was going about 10kbps. I switched over to my Vista 32-bit which I am dual booting this PC with and I have fast internet again. Is this a known issue?

I have a Gigabyte GN-WP01GS PCI WLAN Card(Turbo) with the latest driver.

Getting this thread back alive because i have the same problem!

Running windows 7 64bit with a linksys WMP600N card and installed latetest Ralink drivers.
Signal is most of the time 70% but surfing speeds spikes all the time, one sec good speed 2 secs nothing etc ... just about the same kILLDR3n had experienced.
I'm sure more people must have encouterd this problem so pls speak up!
