I ran a windows optimiser yesturday , unfortunatelty it has done something to my login screen which means the user account icons are no longer displayed and have to remember the user name and password. I have tried system restore, but this optimiser wiped all the restore points. i have also tried re-installing my windows 7 upgrade disk in the hope that this would restore defaults. still no luck. Any ideas would be apppreciated.
