This may not be helpful but when ever I have used Start Up Repair it has always given me the ''startup repair cannot repair this computer automaticqlly" message. However it has fixed the problem in spite of that.
Did you try and restart the computer normally after getting the message?
I know this seems weird but I have seen a lot of people saying that if you run it 3 times in a row it will fix the problem.
But your best solution may be to run a Repair Installation of Windows.
This should overcome anything short of a hardware issue of some sort.
