Hello,
I have a windows 7 oem disk that I purchased and installed on a new desktop I built. I have a laptop that is running Vista and it has come time for it to go. I want to install Win7 64 on the laptop but would like to know if there is a way to use the Win7 disk I already have. I don't care if I have to do an upgrade or clean install on the laptop, whatever it takes to get Vista off. Any thoughts????

Short answer, No.
Has to do with the EULA associated with the media more so than the actual physical media itself. An OEM license (COA / Product Key) is specific to and for what it is installed on and is non-transferable.
Legally you will need a retail upgrade or retail full version license (COA / Product Key) to achieve your goal.
Regards
Randy
