I kept receiving an error on my Dell laptop during the Expanding Files process of the install. It kept stopping at different percentages indicating it couldn't find a file believing it was corrupt. I tried this serveral times from the USB install, finally burned an ISO and tried the install that way. Both failed.

In a last ditch effort, I unplugged the laptop and let it run on battery power. I have no idea why but after 5+ failed attempts to install fresh, it got through everything (using my USB driver) the first time.

After the install was complete, I plugged it back in and everything is working as it is expected.

I just hope this helps someone else that may be (or will have) the same issue.

It sounds like you encountered a challenging installation issue on your Dell laptop, particularly during the Expanding Files process when installing Windows. The fact that the installation repeatedly stopped at different percentages due to a file being unable to be found or believed to be corrupt can be frustrating.
Your solution of letting the laptop run on battery power and having the installation succeed after multiple failed attempts is interesting and could potentially be helpful for others facing a similar problem.
While it might seem peculiar that the installation succeeded when running on battery power after facing issues while plugged in, such unexpected solutions can sometimes resolve complex technical issues. Thank you for sharing your experience, as it could indeed provide insight and a potential solution for others experiencing similar difficulties during a Windows installation process.
