Hi folks,
I've created a problem for myself and I'm hoping there's an easy way out. Last year, I purchased Win 7 Pro upgrade over XP. Everything installed perfectly, no issues.
Two months ago my hard drive started running out of space, so I replaced it with a bigger one. I did a clean installation of Win 7 using the upgrade CD without remembering that I needed to first install XP. I'm not sure why it even let me do this, but it did.
Today, a window popped up saying I have to activate Windows 7 in order to continue using it. That's when I figured out that I skipped a rather crucial step. Is there any way to install XP "underneath" my Win 7 installation without having to erase everything and start from scratch?
Thanks!
Nicole
