Windows 8 Windows 8.1 100% Disk Usage (Local System)

Hello,
I installed Windows 8.1 time ago.I can't play any games cause 100% disk usage(low fps).I've tried a lot of things to fix it but nothing.Sometimes it hits even to 20MB(Local System thingy).

Hi,
threads merged to save confusion plus you won't get an answer any faster.

Have you checked the Task manager to see what is actually running and using the HDD so? You can also use the Task manager to stop processes.
Does it still do the same thing in Safe mode?

I'm never sure, when I read one of these, if the OP means actually "usage" (high I/Os) or consumption (no free space).
