Windows Vista Windows Programs and Features Cant turn on or off

Hi

I wonder if someone could help? I need to turn on internet information services but it is taking a long time to load anything. It is still at the stage of please wait while the features are configured. i have tried typing in the following command in the Administrator: Command line lpremove.exe. But it is still not working. Does any one have any ideas.

Hi,
if your install is a little old then chances are you may have some corruption that's built up over time. Try checking system files, run an admin command prompt and type:
sfc /scannow
Press enter and await results.
