hello to all

im tring to resolve a friend issue with his HP Pavilion TouchSmart 14-b173cl Sleekbook where the screen touch stop working.

since it has also different issues, i installed fresh new windows 10 64bit OS on the laptop.
i download and installed newest driver for graphic driver and touch driver from hp web site.
i update windows until none were suggested but the screen still not working.
i tried to change setting in the tablet pc setting and it does not react to any touch on the screen.

i looked little bit on google and saw a lot of people were suffer from this issue specialy when upgrade from 8.1 to 10 , and couldnt see that there is some fix for it , even when the issue were published on HP forum.

Anyone know how to fix this issue ?
is it realy a 8.1 OS issue when did not fixed?

Thanks for the help.

Solution
I would grab a copy of Ubuntu and create a bootable usb with rufus. Boot to that and see if the touch screen works. If it doesn't then you probably have a hardware issue.
