There is a simple solution to this problem but I do not recall what the solution is. I believe the solution calls for double tapping a specific key.

The text is elected to wherever the mouse points the cursor. The text is selected to wherever the arrow keys direct the cursor to go. These symptoms do not fully subscribe the extend of this problem. The computer is useless until this problem is solved.

The problem was StickyKeys got turned on by accident. Does anyone know how to permanently turn StickyKeys off?
