Trying to open an exe file from Samsung I get the User Account message that the qpp has been blocked by an administrator for security reasons. I have administrator privilegies and the same happens if I run the exe file explicitly as administrator. samsung has recalled the certificate för the file. The file contains drivers that I need. The file was initially blocked by Windows but I unblocked it. How do I get around this?

At one time you could turn off parts of the os that dealt with driver certification, see if this web page helps any:

What did you do to unblock the said file?The file was initially blocked by Windows but I unblocked it. How do I get around this?
The file name is SAMSUNG_USB_Driver_for_Mobile_Phones_v1.5.25.0-retail.exe which was initially blocked by Windows. Unblocked via the Properties tab , rightclicking on the fiel icon. The subsequent problem with the "administrator blocking" has ocurred with another older Samsung file. Hence I believe that the absence of a valid certificate is the issue. But I do not know how to get around this
