I have 5.1 logitech surround sound that worked fine with the windows 7 beta. Since I installed the full version of windows 7, they have not produced any sound. I tried re-installing the drivers from the cd that came with my motherboard and that didn't help.

Have you checked the motherboard manufacturer's site for new drivers? You will probably need to install some to get sound.
