I did a dual boot w7 and 8. Installed 8 on new partition. Installed the drivers from my msi cd. Just like what i did on my 7. When i log in it says cable unplugged. No light on nic. Cant detect. I uninstalled and reinstalled lan driver, changed duplex to 100 mbps full and nothing. When i go to 7 it works fine. Anyone know what t do?

Tell us what computer you are using and we may be able to tell you where to get the drives.

The other option it to uninstall the Lan device in Device Manager and reboot into Windows 8.
It should re-detect and install the correct drivers.

You need to find drivers for 8 and not use the drivers for 7 with it. Or run the 7 drivers in compatibility mode. With out any system information we can't help locate them.
