Hi there!

I got a Windows XP update two weeks ago, left my computer finishing updating process and left to work.
When I got back home, the computer had completed the updating process (?) and had automatically shut itself down.

Next morning I opened my computer and it doesn't recognize the wireless transmitter (WIFI, WLAN) anymore. I've tried almost anything I could imagine (toggling WIFI on and off etc.) but nothing seems to work. There's not a backup of the driver of my wireless system so I cannot roll it back.

However, the wireless works just OK with the safemode of Windows XP (you know, the one you can start when you're pressing F8 while the computer is booting). So what gives and how to repair the situation???

And about that April 2015 update: what does it contain if it can wreck my computer like that???

Thanks a million if someone could help me with my issue!
