My windows 7 64bit PC which I have recently built says that there is 4gb of RAM on my system (which there is) but only 3.5gb of which is usable. I have an 880GMA-UD2H giga-byte motherboard. When I enter the BIOS I can't seem to see a memory remap option, although maybe I've just missed it...

Good Morning
I hope you can help me - I own a Barracuda AC-1 as well as a HP-1 headset. I had this set up in Windows XP 32bit and got it working brilliantly - I love the combined clarity, comfort and bass (bzzzzzzzz).
However, I recently purchased Windows 7 64bit Home Premium. I installed it...
Hey Everyone.
New to the forums here! :)
I was hoping I could get some help. For the past couple of days, explorer.exe randomly crashes. Right now its fine, but really, it could crash any moment. I have not been able to pinpoint what triggers it, earlier today I thought I had it. It would...

I just bought an Asus G51Jx-A1, and it didn't come with a Windows 7 installer disk. I already created the 6-disk "Recovery" disks.
I was wondering, can I simply download a Windows 7 Home Premium 64bit ISO, and use the CDKEY printed underneath my laptop?
Does that work?
i have a Sony vaio with an ATi mobility 5650, and a Windows 7 64bit.
i have problems with aliasing in fonts, flash graphics, icons, cursor, and games.

When I try to perform a restart, the computer goes into oblivion. Drive light flickers a bit but I've let it rest over an hour and it didn't restart. Have to press the reset button. Otherwise everything seems OK. I've run deep scans with Malwarebytes and...
Hi there :)
I have been having some crashes and I'm not sure what the root of the problem is.
I've attached some of the minidump files from today, I would appreciate any input.
Not sure if the files have the system specs in it so here is what I know.

I am using Windows 7 64bit Ultimate.
My laptop, when going into SLEEP, 1 out of say 7 times shuts down instead.
Windows says it crashed and gives me some error logs.
I am attaching the DMP file of the last one.
I remember going to PERFORMANCE INFO & TOOLS > ADVANCED and it saying that a video...
It appears that windows 7 had updates happening last night (8-12-2010) since when I woke up, I woke to a log in screen, and that normally means the computer was restarted.
I logged in with no issues, but then I noticed that my network cards were red Xed out in the task bar, which is strange...

I did easy transfer (backing-up) on my 32bit Windows 7 onto an external HD. I would like to wipe it out and install the 64 bit Windows 7 which my Quad core is capable of and easy transfering my files etc. back. Is this possible? Thanks
Maybe too basic a question, but was wondering if this would work ok, or if lots of potential for problems. I recently got a 64bit OS pre-installed on my new laptop (Windows 7). All my apps I already purchased are all 32bit. Any chance they will still work alright? Apps include MS Office...
I would like to know what is the problem with my computer because I built this computer and it is no older than two weeks. I only ever got this error two times and was confused what the problem was until I ran blue screen viewer. Any way here are the mini dumps. Thank you for any help you...

One of my users got a 64bit Windows 7 machine. My application (Filemaker based) is not 64bit compatible.
Can the 64 bit machine be configured to run in 32bit mode or somehow set to accommodate the application? i doubt they really need a 64bit machine, but they've got it.
If it can be...
