I have an MP3 album that consists of 10 CD's. I am trying to rename the albus to reflect whether they are from cd1, cd2, cd3,etc. (Winterland 1973- The Complete Recordings [CD1]). The original does not have the CD1 at the end so all of the files come in with the 1st song on each album together...
I noticed an annoying quirk in the WMP that came with Windows 7. It does not recognize or store all of my music files, including the CD files that I ripped. When I revert back to my Windows Vista partition, ALL of the music files are there and intact! What the blank is going on?

everything works just fine except that i cant seem (through itunes or any application) to edit the meta data of the audio files. I assume this is an access/permissions issue of some sort.
