I have encrypted my drives and made a usb key. This works great but thought I need to duplicate the key - just in case...
When I go into "manage bitlocker" I put in another USB stick and click "duplicate the startup key"...

If I bitlock the drive and then try to clone, will the clone know the key & work perfectly or not?
If not, is there a way to get this to work?
Can I access the bitlock drive from another computer on my peer to peer network with the...

I intend to use the Win 7 East File Transfer when I upgrade from Vista Ultimate to Win 7 pro. I intend to use the clean install method.

Hi. I am planning on upgrading from XP to Windows 7. Right now, I have 2 hard drives on my computer (C: and F:).
All of my files are on the C: hard drive (300GB) and F: (1TB) is empty.
When I install Windows 7, I'm planning on installing it to F: , and later copying files over from C: instead...

I am hoping there is some small chance here. In anticipation for installing Windows 7 on my main drive I installed my new 1TB SATA drive as secondary under XP, formatted it and moved files to it. I had no problems accessing anything so I didn't think there would be any problem when I tried the...

Hi
I'm really confused about what I should do. I recently wiped my HDD after getting a new box, installed XP then W7RC. When installing XP, I made 2 Partitions, C:/ and D:/. The C:/ drive was ~100 GB on which I installed the OS, and the D:/ Drive was ~130 GB. What I then did was copy the...

Everything goes fine, I can get into Windows 7 without any problem. But then my software starts loading. Nod32 starts up, OppenOffice...
Hi,
I'm trying to move my win7 to a bigger and better hard drive.
My original idea was to create a system image and restore it to a different hard drive with windows repair (after all, this is what you would do after a hard disk failure). However, it only allowed me to restore the image to...
