Thanks
I've spent quite a few days trying to install Win 7 in a dual boot enviroment with an existing Vista operating system. Vista came pre-installed on a large SATA HD that I reconfigured into 2 partitions (Vista on the 1st). Unfortunately, the OEM cabled the drive to one of the middle sequenced of 6...

I am in the market for some advice. I am considering updating my Vista SP1 to Windows 7 RC. My machine is a dual boot and I also have Linux Mint (ubuntu) installed. When it boots, the grub boot loader comes up first and I have to choose Vista from a list to boot it. Now, if I upgrade...

I've been googling around for this but been unable to find any conclusive answers. It seems like i should be able to run the isntallation CD and do a fresh install from XP if i so choose, but as i already have a 25gb partition lying around, i was thinking if it was perhaps possible to set it up...
I installed Windows 7 four days ago in addition to an already existing Windows XP installation.
