Electronics and certainly PCs do not like heat. It is important that these devices stay cool @ all times and throughout their lifetime. That said, here is one of those "Best Practice" things that I suggest all too often does not even occur to people and that they do not think about or do on...
I just got an unusual alert when I attempted to use a video downloader that I've had for quite a while. Actually, I didn't get the chance to actually try to download anything, because the alert blocked it just as the video's page loaded. I started to run the cleaning, but as fast as I selected...
One of my optical drives began having problems seeing discs, either for reading or writing. I figured that it was due to the fact that it had been quite a while since I cleaned it. Therefore I dug out my Philips Cleaner disc, which is actually no more than a disc with a couple of very small...
I spilled ginger beer on my keyboard. And now it's got goop in it and the keys are stiff. I cleaned it externally. Can I remove the top and wash the keys like I saw in a this video.

We were having a problem with browser redirects in IE and Firefox, so I...

I have just purchased an Asus X501A.
It comes pre-loaded with Windows 8, but as with all laptops they come with a stupid amount of rubbish on them. Seems that laptops no longer have the product code on the bottom so you could install a standard OEM. Anyone know how I can install it without...

Hi,
I've been having really weird BSOD's with my system lately. Googled all the error codes and still came up with nothing. Most of the suggested fix was to just strip the system and test 1 peice of hardware at a time, but i know that my system is stable, 5passes with memtest showed 0 errors...

BSOD most likely caused by faulty hardware or drivers, not quite sure which and how to proceed
So I've been getting BSODs now and again. It usually happens when I'm playing a game, or sometimes right after. I assume it is a hardware or driver error due to "IRQL_NOT_LESS_OR_EQUAL".
