Hi
I really don't get this!
If a computer can do anything it should be able to find files.
Today I needed to find a file that I did for my niece a year ago.
I don't remember what I named it or where I saved it.
After trying a few things I decided to narrow it down by just getting a list of...

I am trying to use the windows search function to find files with the .xm extension.
When I type ext:.xm or fileext:.xm it returns .xml files of which there are thousands on my computer. How do I get the search to only return .xm files?
Thanks in advance for the help.
Can anyone tell me what an AVI.index file is, or how about a jpg.file. Every time I move a picture, video, or audio file from folder to folder these index files and jpg.files go too. If I upload 300 pictures to a folder it ends up with 600 files in it, one jpg.file for every pic, one AVI.index...

Hi
In windows XP i could search multiple files at one with the use of a comma.
For example 2452,2452,2462,5632 would return the files 2452.jpeg 2452.jpeg 2462.jpeg 5632.jpeg
This method allows me to find all of the images I require.
