Hi, I have two users on my PC: Me (set as administrator) and a Guest account.
I would like to prevent users of the Guest account from accessing specific folders and their contents.
Can you please tell me how I would go about this?
Thank you!

My 8 year old was messing about on my computer and suddenly I cannot see any of my libraries, my favourites and even the link to My Documents has vanished from the Explorer. My sticky notes have also vanished. I am the only user on the computer.

In Windows XP and earlier, I could paste a folder into the Start Menu folder, and when I opened start menu, I would get an expandable folder right alongside Programs. I'd like to know how I can do that in Windows 7. I have a folder in which I put shortcuts to documents I use often. I could...
I have limited tech knowledge but here's the issue:
I had a motherboard crash on a laptop running XP Home and wound up buying a new Gateway w/Windows 7. My backup data was on an external drive that was 3 years old, backed up using the NTBACKUP command. Windows 7 will not run NTBACKUP, so I...

I cant install OpenOffice because, at some point, the installer says it cant write in any \winsxs\ folder. As far as I see that, only "trusted installers" have access to this directory. So how do I force Win7 to like my OpenOffice installer? I changed compability to Vista and everything is ran...
I'm getting quite annoyed with the OS because it constantly is saying I do not have privileges to open a file, or delete a file, or write to a folder.
It's confusing because I have UAC off, I am the admin, I check the folder and it says everyone has full privileges and I don't have my firewall...
I am moving data from an old XP computer to a new Vista OS computer. When I try to find the folder for appdata on the Vista computer, supposedly in my user folder, I cannot find it. Is it somehow hidden, and if so, how do I view this folder?

In XP I used to make webfolders to my websites so I could easily see the content of a website in a 'normal' folder. How can I do the same in Vista? Somehow I can not find this in windows Vista (I am using Vista Home Premium)
Any help will be appreciated,
Thanks,
