Before I installed windows 8.1 my monitor(s) were working fine. After I installed it, exactly the moment I got to my desktop, everything became gray-scale, and it stays that way. My other monitor works 100% fine. The problem lies in my Samsung SyncMaster SA350 monitor, which I am connected with...

To get the computer to recognize the device to where you wish to send your HDMI audio, you may have to restart the computer with that device connected via HDMI cord. Only then will that playback device become an option for default playback devices. Even my Sony TV had a setting to change for...
Hey all,
So I just tried to change my system region/language from Taiwan (Traditional Chinese) to English (US). Upon restarting my computer's screen wouldn't show up on my Samsung Syncmaster P2770. I thought it was doing final adjustments or something so I let it sit there for 5 minutes, then...

Hello all, I have a bit of a problem.
You see, I just got a second monitor, and as you can see by the first circle, my first one is connected via VGA on my graphics card. My graphics card has HDMI out, VGA, and DVI-D.
There are no more ports for VGA, but that is what...
Is it possible to have a tripple monitor setup? If it is, what hardware piece do you need to be able to do this? I would imagine that you either need at least 3 fucntioning display ports (Not meaning "displayport" itself but 3 different display outputs) on the graphics card or an adapter that...
Connected Win 8 PC to TX-L42E6B TV using HDMI cable. BIOS screen shows then it goes black when the OS loads.
Added a dumb monitor on VGA. That stays black during initial boot, but becomes the monitor as soon as Windows starts.
Going into Screen resolution only shows one screen (the old...
I just bought a new machine with windows 7 home premium. I'm using an HP2710 monitor being connected via HDMI. On start up the bios screen fills the entire monitor, but when windows 7 comes up, there is a 1" black border on the sides and a 1/2" border top and bottom.
I suspect this is a...

I do not have any commercial TV services. I only have OTA reception.
I send streaming TNT shows from “freetvall.com” to my computer and then to my TV with an HDMI cable.
I have to watch the shows live.
Is there a way to save the stream so I can view it later?
First of all, I apologize if this goes into wrong area or doesn't fit this forum at all.

I have a flat screen monitor that is connected via the DVI port. I also have an HDTV, where my computer connects to it via an HDMI cable. I notice they can't work simultaneously.
is there a software solution to be able to switch between the 2, perhaps by disabling something?
thanks
