it shows that the home is no connected and public is in the firewall but I cant change that to home operational

Hi. i just got this laptop yesterday, then i set up homegroup for sharing files with my windows 7 PC. When i was half way sharing some files, the bsod errors start coming out, then the laptop keep on restarting.
