A few days ago I was able to click on my network icon in the notification area on the taskbar, to pull up a list of my connections. Now when I click on it nothing pulls up. I do not remember changing any thing to stop the connection list from popping up. How can I get it to pull up.
I have an icon (of an app i updated) in my taskbar that is stuck there and i can't remove it. If i rightclick it nothing happens, if i click it it says "This action is only valid for products that are currently installed". Does anyone have an idea about how i can get rid of it?

Just installed Windows 7 RC 1 (build 7100) and by mistake deleted the IE icon from the taskbar.
Now I don't know for the life of my how to get it back on there... I tried dragging, using the 'pin to taskbar' option, nothing works...

I want to pin a website connection to the task bar, but when I try, the system wants to pin it as an extension of Internet Explorer. Internet Explorer is already pinned to the Task Bar. I just want separate icon pinned. Anyone have any ideas?

For some reason the icon is ok for c: drive but the one for d: has lost its icon and has the default icon - I can't seem to find where in the registry where I can recreate the icon for this - can anyone help?

Hi, I'm running Windows 7 RC 7100 and everyhtings working fine apart from the sound. When i install the latest Realtek High Definition Audio driver it installs fine and when i restarrt i have sound and the Realtek icon is in the taskbar, but when i next restart the computer the drivers are gone...

The touch pad icon in the notification area, is that ok to uncheck in msconfig, i am quite happy with the setting it already has, which would be the default setting.
Noticed this for a while now, no matter what so far the Networking Icon continues to display a red X through the icon even though when hovering over it it shows connected to the internet. A little issue but I was wondering if anyone else has seen this problem?

I have no idea if this problem was also in beta or not, but I just installed the Zune software, then pinned it to the taskbar. The icon was working for awhile until it turned into the generic program icon. Any way to fix this?

All of a sudden my SRH icon stopped working. If I put the cursor over it, it says "Safe To Remove Hardware", but it never opens up. I have a internally connected multi-card-reader that should and did show up, but now doesn't (they show up under my computer).
