Hi,
I've recently moved a specialist PC which is used in our college radio studio from Windows 7 to Windows 10. Everything has gone well, but for the exception of dual display. This PC has two mirrored displays; a 22-inch and a 40-inch. The 22-inch display is the main PC monitor and the 40-inch...
I have an HP Pavilion B&O with only one HDMI port. I am trying to run a projector for a golf sim and a TV with both showing exactly what is on the laptop screen. I have no issue getting the projector to work. And I can get the TV working with either a display adaptor off the USB port or WIFI off...
Everything was wider and bigger on the screen. I thought the resolution somehow changed but I changed that back to what I thought was the original 1366 x 738 and everything is not wide any more but everything is still large. The setting for "Change the size of text, apps..." is at 100% but...
I received an installation update about five weeks ago and my dual monitors will now only mirror the same data. I've tried changing the display settings, with no success. Any suggestions?
My W7 desk top web page is not sufficiently wide on screen to allow full lines of print so I get wrapping, on title lines and others. My W10 laptop on the same pages shows full line presentation. Is there any way of altering the screen format to allow full lines to be shown?
So, I recently updated Windows and the resolution and scale has been completely messed up. I've tried changing the resolution in the settings and none of them work for me. Any more ideas??
Whenever I boot up or restart my PC, it'll always start on the next screen (which is bank) instead of the screen with all my icons and links. How do I make this screen the default?
Hi everybody, first post here, I just want to say thanks and I guess you will help me to solve all my doubts, sorry if this is not the right place to post this, feel free to place my post in the right category if needed.
My first question is about the display settings for two identical iiyama...
After changing the video card the second monitor does not show up in screen resolution & both screens show the same thing.
How do I get the screen resolution to show both screens like before so that I can select what shows up in the second screen.

Hello all. I am in quite a predicament here. I recently installed Win 10 because it was time to reformat and I figured that an upgrade from win 7 was a good idea. After installing and using win 10 for a few days I decided it was not for me and used the system reset function on win 10 to wipe...

I was having several issues so I did a full reset of Windows 8.1 (that was a nightmare). When I went to update, it offered me Windows 10. I bit the bullet and did it. The exact same thing happened this time as the first time (which is why I reverted back to 8.1).

Is there any way to better resize text, apps, and other items all at once? When I go to Display Settings, I can only choose 100%, 125%, and 150%. I need to resize them to around 115%. I just know I'm overlooking something. I'm not interested in resizing just icons & folders just so you know. I...
Help needed. I'm using a laptop that is more often than not connected to more than one screen via a docking station. When I'm using certain program's the drop down menus will often appear on the opposite screens, whilst this is not such a massive problem when I undock the laptop and use it on...

I'm running Windows 8.1 currently, has worked fine for the time I've had it but want to go back to Vista (Just ran good on my system). I tried to boot the .iso from BIOS when I restarted but had an issue. Ever since I did that my screen has been blurry and on 800x600 resolution. Tried updating...
Hi. Everything was fine on Win 7 for last 3-4 years at least. I use a AOC LCD Monitor 1080p. As soon as I completed upgrade to Win 10, the screen size has gotten messed up. It badly needs to be stretched horizontally (screen is all squished up). I have gone into the monitor setup, the...
It's difficult to explain but I will try to.
When I split the screen as shown in this photo:
the game on the left doesn't center, and it really bugs me, anyone know how to fix it without ruining the quality?
I have a windows 10 laptop, which actually came with linux but I installed Windows 10 pro 64-bit on it. The resolution looked fine to me while on linux and even windows 8, but as soon as a upgraded to windows 10, I can practically see all the pixels around the rounds. Text isn't clear at all...
OK, I upgraded from 8.1 to 10. Here's where the fun begins. If I pull an icon to the edge of the screen, a third of it goes off screen. The Taskbar is 2/3 off the screen. If I go full screen with my browser (Firefox) it too blows off the screen. The Menu Bar is off screen. The minimize button...
I have two systems, one running Nvidia and one Intel graphics. On both systems, the default refresh rate was selected as 59 Hz by Windows 10. The monitors are rated at 60 Hz and the screen appears clean at that refresh rate where it appears fuzzy at 59 Hz.
Is Windows 10 incorrectly deciding...
