Hi all,
I am running Windows 7/64 with a 8800 GTS and the 196.21 driver on a Samsung P2370 1920x1080 resolution.
I am getting very poor video playback. I know it's not a codec issue now. I'll explain why in a bit. The shadows on the videos look like 16 bit. Instead of a smooth transition...

Heya doods!
Just bought a new rig and installed Windows 7 32bit version. I was recently messing around with different drivers and stuff to make the system work like it should. So almost everything seems to be okay except one thing: the graphics card. Well, actually two things, the monitor is...

So when I had Visa, all my Mkv, avi files played widescreen. Black bards on bottom and top. Yeah..you know. I liked it.
But now when I have windows 7, each of my players play my videos full screen, like a square box that stretches when I go full screen. I use VLC or Media player classic. I...
I recently upgraded to W7 Home Premium from Vista Home Premium. The problem is that video streamed to my extender looks like it is being transcoded....it is pixelated and has the look of very low bit rate video. It is happening in both Media Browser and My Movies.
I have read that in W7 fast...

Hi.!
I am trying to play a DVD video file on my windows 7 windows media player. Since it is a DVD format, the movie is crystal clear (hv tested it on my laptop [vista]). When i play it in windows 7, the movie shows a lot of grains and is not at all clear.! I've even tried a couple of codecs...
I have been running Win7 successfully until these last updates, on my older computer. I have lost the touchpad and the amount of Ram that my system can access has changed.
Now I know I am running less then recommended only 512MB but it has done the job running at about 80% which has now only...
Hey,
Anyone maybe noticed poor video quality after installing Windows 7?
It's more fuzzy and like little blocks in videos.
I tested the same videos under Windows XP and they look great.
Have installed the latest NVIDIA drivers but it didn't help.
Any suggestions of that would it be?
Thanks
Hey,
I just installed Windows 7 Beta, and the first thing I noticed is the quality I'm getting in video streams.
For example in YouTube; the videos are just shown in lower quality.
I've compared the quality with the second PC I have, that have Windows XP Pro installed on it, and confirmed that...
