Zvit, is the location of the resource file hardcoded, or is it an option that might be in the registry or some .ini file? Do you have the software installed?

Again, this is the programmer's choice. Some might add a registry key to reference the file but in any case, it must be embedded in some file (or it can be a stand-alone .ico file in a directory). I checked and 3ds-Max does not have a registry reference key to the icon. (I have it installed)
