Laptop....Compaq presario C700 Notebook....intel pentium dual core T2370 @ 1.73 GHz.....2.5 gigs pc 5400 RAM, Win 7 v 7100. Receiving wild fluctuations in the reception of the wireless network. This is happening only to this notebook, and everything simple has been tryed (reboot cable modem, reboot Linksys WRT54g,) . This notebook is using Atheros AR5007 802.11 b/g wifi adapter.
The 2 xp systems hardlined in are fine
The Vista/win 7 64 hardlined in is fine
The XP laptop sp2 wireless is fine
The Vista laptop x86 wireless is fine.
Now look at the echo requests to yahoo and the time fluctuations if it connects at all....
