Windows 7 Black screen after windows 7 logo shows up during last few steps of installation

Help guys!

I have a 32bit signature edition of windows 7 ultimate and i did a clean install by formatting my hard drive. I got through the first steps of completing installation (expanding files, etc.) and after the first boot where the windows logo shows up and displays "starting windows" my desktop shows a black screen and I can only move my mouse pointer. What is wrong guys? I ran Windows upgrade advisor and it warned me of my 1Gb RAM but from what I know it is the minimum and also the recommended requirement.

Some folks have had problems with 2 display devices, try with just one.
