Windows 7 Blue Screen Of Death

All you need for that ATI card is a fan like this. 3 tiny screws will mount it inside the metal part and the wire connects to the tiny socket to the left of it:

Re: [langtitle=iw]Re: Blue Screen Of Death[/langtitle]

It's for sure caused by the games again -

Code:

ffff9800 ?? ???

Re: [langtitle=iw]Re: Blue Screen Of Death[/langtitle]

what that means

Could not read faulting driver name
Probably caused by : memory_corruption ( nt!MiLocateAndReserveWsle+4 )

Re: [langtitle=iw]Re: Blue Screen Of Death[/langtitle]

It means that a driver crashed the system because of being defective or the memory is defective.

Your memory is not defective. If it was, you would be getting all sorts of failures and not only with games. The SiS drivers have faults, and like I said, are not intended or written for gaming at all. So they bug out and crash.

You can keep on posting crash dumps but the explanation is going to be the same. Believe me, I'm not being rude at all, not even a little - I just don't have any enthusiasm left to look at these crash dumps any longer because it is pointless. Hope you understand.

The best advice I can leave this with is to purchase a very cheap fan for that ATI card you have and install it.

Re: [langtitle=iw]Re: Blue Screen Of Death[/langtitle]

awsome man i am totally understund i am glad my memory is ok and all other drivers no fault just sis i will not post any more dump and ur not rude at all ur awsome hope there will be more like u in that world ur the only one who tryed help me that kinda sad pls dont get angry on me i am just worried i tryed look at shops for 4x today no resaults tryed look for new fan no resaults can i buy derecly from ebay and how i get it sended too me never buy anything from internet beafore is that safe

Re: [langtitle=iw]Re: Blue Screen Of Death[/langtitle]

Yes, you can buy from E-Bay. It is safe because it is so cheap. The worst thing that can happen is you lose a tiny amount of money. I don't think you'll find the fan you need though.

Try e-mailing the picture of your card to this company in your country and ask them if they have a replacement fan to sell to you cheap:

If it is true you have a 400W supply upgraded from the original psu, then post the crash dump when trying with a card installed.

It is probably caused still by the SiS chipset, and if it is, nothing we can do.

Re: [langtitle=iw]Re: Blue Screen Of Death[/langtitle]

....and that's because the psu is too weak, no matter how well it is working in another system.

Re: [langtitle=iw]Re: Blue Screen Of Death[/langtitle]

Have you went into the bios and set the initial diplay device of first display device to AGP and saved?

Anyhow, as I've said probably 10x in the thread, that SiS chipset is not good and/or psu issues.

Re: [langtitle=iw]Re: Blue Screen Of Death[/langtitle]

Re: [langtitle=iw]Re: Blue Screen Of Death[/langtitle]

I didn't try my best, I did the best. Page 5 of this thread:

"Test the memory overnight 8-10 passes with Memtest86+. See if any errors show."

Your response:

"i did 4 passes in mem test"

------------------

I can only go by what I'm being told are the conditions of the machine. I don't go and do research to make sure parts belong in a system. It's assumed that the builder wasn't ignorant enough to fit with incompatible parts.
