Windows 7 BSOD - At my wits end with troubleshooting!

Hello very nice forum people. Thanks in advance for trying to help me out. I've got a clean install of Windows 7 Home Premium 64 bit (specs below). I get frequent BSODs and have tried everything in my knowledge to troubleshoot. For what it's worth, I'm in finance though... (been building my own computers for 15 years though, so not a total amateur)

The BSODs happen at just about any time, but occur more frequently when I work with large files and multitask. For instance, I backed up my iTunes library on several DVDs and importing them causes a crash. As does importing my .pst from an external HD. As does downloading several files at one time (iTunes, Logitech Setpoint, Logitech Harmony, ATI Catalyst, 3dMark - for the size, I realize I'm not going to get anywhere with the video card I'm currently using)

Hardware:
  • Asus P6X58D-E motherboard
  • Intel i7 970 (6 core)
  • 6 GB Corsair XMS3 1600MHz (3 x 2GB)
  • Intel X25-M 160GB Solid State Hard Drive
  • ATI Radeon x1950 Pro (Holdover from the system I'm replacing - worked fine for the past few years, most recently on my previous Windows 7 Home Premium/64 build. Hey, can't have everything...gonna get a new card when Diablo 3 comes out.)
  • D-Link wireless NIC (Holdover, works fine)
  • 2 Samsung DVD burners (Holdovers as well, not as fast as they used to be, but functional)

Here's what I've tried already in terms of troubleshooting:
  • Reformatted the SSHD and reinstalled Windows - same problem.
  • Formatted the HD from the system I'm replacing, (a Western Digital Raptor - no problems for the past 2 years) and installed Windows 7 clean - same problem.
  • Uninstalled Catalyst (website says it's not officially supported in Windows 7, I've been using it for a few years in my previous system with no issues)
  • Turned XMP profile off RAM (Per Corsair website, RAM is XMP capable, and BIOS recognized the 7-8-7/20 profile correctly) Did it just to be thorough...Same Problem.
  • Booted from DVD with Memtest installed. Ran overnight - not a single error.
  • Replaced my holdover 650W power supply (such a pain in the ***!)
I'm thinking that something is wrong with the motherboard, since it's the only thing left, and I really don't know how to specifically test it. Funny thing is that I have no problem installing Windows... (I've done it 3 times now - did another clean install on the SSHD). All of the drivers from the motherboard are installed. Per the guidelines, I've attached the Minidumps. I'd appreciate any help, because I really don't want to go through dismantling the system to RMA the motherboard. Thanks so much, and if you want more Dump files, just ask, I can generate some pretty much on demand...sigh...

Thanks for the reply. Sorry for not including the CPU-Z pictures. They're below:

CPU.jpg

MEM.jpg

As for your suggestions:

  1. I am not overclocking the CPU
  2. I ran Memtest with no errors overnight
  3. I replaced the PSU and still got the same errors
Is my best bet to RMA the motherboard at this point?

1600 Mhz 7-8-7-20 I suspect the memory settings are wrong.

1. Load setup defaults in the bios, save and reboot
2. Repost CPU-Z screenshots taken in these tabs

a) memory
b) SPD for each slot of RAM

As I mentioned in my original post, I already tried dropping the memory to the "basic" latency. What you see is the XMP. After turning off XMP in the BIOS, rebooting, and getting the same error, I turned it back on. I paid a premium for fast RAM, might as well get my money's worth. The BIOS found the XMP profile on its own, matching Corsair's website.
