Windows 7 BSOD error: 0x0000003b. Help needed

I had a really nasty virus named Obfuscator.xz which forced me to do a total reset of my Windows. After the reset I started getting these BSOD and they seem to appear at random.

Additional info, may be unrelated: After my last reinstall it took at least 1 minute to shut down my computer (normally takes about 5 s), and also took a lot of time to start it up. After I reinstalled my graphic card drivers this problem seems to be gone.

What I have tried:
-Total reset of Windows 2 times, repair Windows 1 time. Full driver update after each reset.
-Updated my drivers. Uninstalled graphic drivers, installed them again.
-Did ram test -no errors
-Done this in Command Prompt: "sfc.exe /scannow" -no errors
-Performed full scan with various antivirus programs and found nothing suspicious.
-Tried installing hotfix for this but I can't run the hotfix because of the error message "The update is not applicable to your computer".

My computer:
OS: Windows 7 Professional 64 bit
CPU: Intel Core i5-4690K CPU @ 3.5 GHz
Motherboard: ASRock Z97 Anniversary
Memory: Corsair Vengeance DDR3 PC12800/1600MHz CL10 LP 2x8GB
Graphics card: Asus Radeon R9 290 DirectCU II OC HDMI DP 2xDVI 4GB

I have been spending my entire spare time for the last few days but have had no success with the BSOD.

Hi Mountain,
every dump file is the same and blames the GPU driver as the probable cause. There is also a slight possibility that this may be RAM related but we'll see.

I can also see you were using chrome around the time of the bsod and it can be the case that out of date versions of the chrome browser can cause bsod's. Make sure you have the latest version by opening the settings tab and click on 'About Google Chrome'.

Your graphic driver is also slightly out of date. Uninstall the old driver using this application:

This app removes the driver in safe mode (you have to boot into safe mode to use it) and makes sure no messy bits of driver are left lying around.

Please update to the last available Whql driver:

As you seem to have a history of gpu related bsod's please run this application to test the Vram on the gpu:

Uninstalling Graphic drivers with that program and then reinstalling it solved the problem. Many thanks! Tried using the Vram test application but couldn't figure out which settings to use. But now when it's working I guess i don't need that.
